I’M GETTING OUT OF THE CONDEMNATION RACKET AND INTO THE LOVING BUSINESS

This image of Rodrigo, played by Robert De Niro in The Mission, illustrates our text for Sunday, May 20, 2018, Romans 9:14-18, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy.” When we get out of the condemnation racket and into the loving business, we’re transformed to be part of God’s big redemptive purposes. –Greg Taylor, preacher for The Journey: A New Generation Church of Christ

GO: THE JOURNEY HAS ADDED ANOTHER MISSION PARTNER

The Journey has opened a $1 Million mission foundation called Every Nation Mission Fund, and to date has averaged giving more than $100,000 annually, which is more mission giving than anytime in the 50 year history of the church. The Journey wants to send 100 missionaries in the next five years, and already more than 20 have received significant support, meaning our support is as much or more than other support sources for the missionary. The latest addition is Rhett and Elisa Johnson. The Journey’s Every Nation Mission Fund has in 2018 given financial support of $15,500 to Rhett and Elisa Johnson in a church plant called Movement Church in New Hampshire. We are happy to be partnering with Rhett and Elisa, who spoke at the The Journey May 13, 2018.
