I have a B.A. in Journalism and an M.Div. from Harding School of Theology in Memphis, Tennessee. Indeed, everything is music. For those who hear the music, listening is a great skill. Teach him to listen past the surface to the rhythms and tones that run through God’s world.
How neat to hear about Jacob’s fascination with God’s creation. He will probably be a writer and singer of psalms like David – who was fascinated by God and His creation. I’m so thankful you take time to listen to him as he explores. Love you, Mom
Wow, that is profound. May he hear music wherever his life may take him, be it in joy or suffering; oh Lord, make it mostly joy!
That’s wonderful! Until it drives him crazy, like, say, he can’t sleep because he’s trying to accurately determine the two pitches made by the fan as it whirs. Not that I know anyone who’s experienced that.
